Hunting Grounds 1.1.1 has been released.
We're excited to announce that Hunting Grounds 1.1.1 has been released! This version adds some new features, and fixes a few issues that you guys have reported:
New Features:
- New "Search" Feature. you can now search for markers and activities, as well as general addresses and geographical points of interest. You can utilise this feature by clicking the new "Search" Icon, which is located in the top, right hand side of the map screen
- New "Location Query" marker. Tap anywhere on the map, and a small grey marker now appears. Tap that marker, and an info screen will appear that shows you some information about that specific location, such as address, land use type, and the current weather conditions
- New "Precipitation Radar" data layer. This data layer displays where there is currently precipitation (rain, hail, snow, etc).
- New "New South Wales Crown Land Hunting Areas" data layer. This data layer shows NSW Crown Land where hunting is permissible.
- New "New South Wales Game Species Distribution" data layer. This data layer shows the general distribution for several game species in NSW. These species are: Fallow Deer, Chital Deer, Red Deer, Sambar Deer, Rusa Deer, Goat, and Pig
- Victorian Crown Land Hunting Areas now has the option of being enabled per Victorian Government "Regions" (Barwon South West, Grampians, Loddon Mallee, Hume, Gippsland, and the three Metro regions (North, South, and East). This has been done to address potential performance issues on older hardware. The option to load this data layer for the whole of state is still available.
Bug fixes & tweaks:
- Fixed an issue that resulted in unusually long download times for "15km wide" regions when saving areas for offline use.
- Fixed a bug where the phone keyboard was not dismissible when saving an activity.
- Various performance and stability tweaks.
